Songwriter and recording artist, Leslie Brooks, is winning over the hearts of listeners as she reveals hers through the vocal deliveries of eclectic styles ranging from soulful ballads, country blues, folk, Americana, jazz (in three languages) and most recently writing Appalachian songs for her upcoming record, Breakdown, featured on Project SW Artist Portraits, a PBS series on YouTube. As an accomplished guitarist and seasoned entertainer, Brooks has traveled the U.S. and abroad writing songs along the way. She is a 3-time Kerrville Folk Finalist, winner of the B.W. Stevens Songwriter Award as well as a Dallas Songwriters Assoc. winner in Gospel & Country categories. She has extensive radio airplay and has been featured on Good Morning Texas and Good Day Dallas promoting her song, "Twister Alley," and her opening performance with Willie Nelson.

One of our favorites - singer songwriter TJ Ellis graces the stage for his second of three performances during our 2025 summer music series. TJ will be serving up originals, old and new favorites in his unique Americana folk style. TJ pairs well with friends and family on our patio - Treehouse will be serving drink and dinner specials as the lovely summer day gives way to music under the stars.
Noah Broe is a multi genre songwriter with a history of performance in bars and clubs throughout Florida, Hawaii, the southwest and now in the heart of Appalachia.
His rich lyrical content combined with intoxicating melodies and infectious grooves have won people over for the last two decades.
Well known for his original music from funk/Jam collective The Groove Co. to his Americana-infused jam band Appalachian Space Train, Noah has also performed as a supporting lead guitarist and backup vocalist for multiple projects, including Hawaiian folk/reggae band Alohi and the Free Life.
His cross-genre solo performances feature a wide range of his written masterpieces, improvisational creations and occasional covers, while allowing him to completely take over the spotlight and move fluidly in whichever direction the mood calls for.

Bil Krauss has been a performing entertainer in venues ranging from the rough and tumble streets of Canada and Europe to the class and prestige of North America's finest resorts. He has opened the show for major national acts such as The Charlie Daniels Band, Natalie Merchant, Jay Mohr, Lewis Black and Jerry Jeff Walker. His blend of music, anecdotes, comedy and audience engagement has been wowing dinner guests for twenty five years. Join us as we welcome him back on The Mountain summer solstice weekend.

TJ Ellis is a folk and country-inspired singer-songwriter with Midwestern roots. Now based in the Roanoke Valley, his music blends traditional folk influences with contemporary storytelling. You can hear him playing all around the Roanoke Valley and Southwest Virginia.

Hailing from Bedford County, Virginia, Adam Markham has been performing for audiences for more than forty years. Though his vocals are usually accompanied by acoustic guitar and harmonica, he also can occasionally be seen playing electric guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin and ukulele. Influences range from Hank to Hendrix, with heavy doses of blues, jazz and classic rock, and his eclectic repertoire also includes many original compositions. He currently performs solo, and is a member of the band The Big Whoop, and the duo Heartbent, and also plays with numerous other musicians in the area. Past bands include The Housecats and Cows in Trouble, as well as a 6 1/2 year stint with the popular Americana band Bebop Hoedown.

The Night Shift consists of Aaron Geller, a chemistry teacher by day and guitarist by night, and Lilly Potts, an ER nurse by night and a singer by... other nights. They perform their own arrangements of songs from an eclectic range of styles including classic rock, blues, jazz, and folk music
